We are overflowing with gratitude today. Thanks to an incredibly generous donor, the Wildwood Soup Kitchen has officially eclipsed our $1.5 million building fund goal—a milestone that once felt impossible and is now a reality because of a community that believes no one should go hungry.
This extraordinary gift represents more than bricks and mortar. It represents hope, dignity, and a permanent home where we can continue serving our neighbors in need for generations to come. To our donor—and to every supporter who has walked alongside us on this journey—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
As we celebrate this amazing achievement, our work continues. The next step is raising $600,000 for remodeling and operational expenses to transform this building into a fully functional, welcoming space where meals are prepared, served, and shared with compassion.
Together, we’ve proven what faith, generosity, and community can accomplish. With God’s guidance and your continued support, we will finish strong and open the doors to a new chapter for the Wildwood Soup Kitchen.

The Wildwood Soup Kitchen is a 100% volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to feeding our community. Each week, our team provides more than 4,200 hot, hearty, and nutritious meals—completely free of charge—to those in need. That’s over 16,000 meals every month served with compassion and care.
It takes 14 to 16 volunteer shifts each week—including cooks, prep teams, and support staff—working tirelessly to keep our kitchen running. Thanks to their dedication and the generosity of our supporters, we have been able to serve the Wildwood community for many years from our current location.
Unfortunately, we are now facing an emergency crisis that threatens our ability to continue this vital mission. Our lease is up for renewal under new stipulations: our rent has doubled, building access hours have been reduced, and our available space has decreased—all while the demand for meals continues to rise each week.
Hundreds of families, children, & seniors rely on us daily. Without immediate help, we risk having to shut down at the end of this year.
We urgently need assistance to fund our new location in Wildwood with a large commercial kitchen ready for immediate occupancy. We do not have the time or resources to construct a new facility or undertake major renovations.
We will continue serving, we will not close. Just how is another story.
We are seeking financial support to Update and Equip our new permanent building—a home where we can continue to serve those who depend on us for food and hope.
